Dette tilskuddet er formulert som et vedlikeholdstilskudd til unghester fra avvenning opp til 5 år. Formelen er utviklet ved hjelp av data innhentet fra vitenskapelig analyse av våre mange prøver av fôr og optimale nivåer av mineraler for voksende unghester.  

Forageplus Young Horse Balancer inneholder bare de vanlige mangelfulle mineralene, vitaminene og aminosyrene som er nødvendige for å matche forholdene i gress, høy og ensilasje og støtter optimal, sikker og sunn vekst hos unge hester gjennom vinteren.  

Alle Forageplus Balancers kommer i pulverform, inneholder lite sukker og stivelse, inneholder ingen fyllstoffer og bare mineraler og vitaminer med høyeste renhet. Mineralene som brukes er av høy kvalitet for å sikre mot forurensning av tungmetaller og muliggjør en god absorpsjonshastighet.  

Forageplus anbefaler fri tilgang av grovfor i tillegg til feks betfiber, lucerne eller andre proteinrike tilskudd i hestens diett.  

Forageplus anbefaler fôring av ekstra mikronisert linfrø gjennom vintermånedene om hesten hovedsakelig får kun høy eller ensilasje gjennom vinterhalvåret. Dette vil sikre gode nivåer av essensielt fett omega 3 for å opprettholde og støtte hestens helse.  

Når hesten er over to år gammel kan tilskudd av salt på 10 - 25 gram per dag også være gunstig for å støtte sunn vekst.  

Der hesten trenger ytterligere styrke av hovveggen, den hvite linjen og strålen eller huden, anbefaler vi bruk av både  Forageplus B-Vitamin Plus og Forageplus Essential Amino Acids.  Vær oppmerksom på at Forageplus anbefaler både en ernæringsmessig og en mineralanalyse av fôret som blir gitt for å være helt sikker på at unghesten din får optimale nivåer av protein og mineraler.

 

The minerals used are of the best quality to ensure against contamination with heavy metals and enable good absorption rates.

We use particularly low forms of mono-sodium phosphate and magnesium oxide in our balancers.

 

Oil 2.32%, Protein 19.23%, DE 1.36 MJ/kg (please note these are Kg amounts)

Each 150 grams contains:
9.96 grams of micronised linseed
20 grams lysine
10 grams salt
13 grams of calcium (calcium carbonate)
12 grams phosphorous (mono-sodium.phosphate)
5 grams methionine
1200mg zinc (bioplex)
400 mg copper (bioplex)
3.5 mg iodine (calcium iodate)
2 mg selenium (yeast)
1800 iu vitamin E

Be aware that the above analysis for 150 grams is equivalent to elemental values fed.

The volume feed rate (150 grams) is not the same as the elemental feed rate values (above). Therefore the above figures will not equal 150 grams.

 

 

Note that if your horse starts work you will need to feed our Youngstock Working Plus balancer.

 

Young horse to make adult weight between 250 and 400 kg:

Weanling: 40 grams per day

Yearling: 50 grams per day

2 – 5 year old: 110 grams per day

Young horse to make adult weight between 400 and 600 kg:

Weanling: 55 grams per day

Yearling: 70 grams per day

2 – 5 year old: 150 grams per day

Young horse to make adult weight between 600 and 800 kg:

Weanling: 75 grams per day

Yearling: 95 grams per day

2 – 5 year old: 200 grams per day

If feeding for a young horse (2-5 years) to make an average 500kg horse this product should last you 33 days.

A 75ml scoop contains approximately 65 grams

    I have had my young mare on this balancer since she was a yearling. I use the winter and summer young horse balancers accordingly and her health is absolutely superb. She lived out with other youngsters over the last winter and while they all caught a mild virus and were a bit subdued – my mare showed no sign of being off colour. I attribute this to her excellent health, no doubt well supported by this incredible balancer. Would definitely recommend.

    My young horse has been on this balancer over winter and is looking superb. I couldn’t be happier with her, shes so shiny. Topped up with linseed over winter I now wouldn’t feed anything else, highly recommended

    My Connemara has been having this since he was imported as a Yearling. He is now 3 1/2 . He looks a picture of health and I’m rest assured he is getting the right balance needed for his age

    This product was recommended to me by my horse trainer and bare foot trimmer who are helping me with my young, anxious horse. I am now on my third bag of this and the difference it has made has been amazing! He is much calmer and he just looks so healthy! Would highly recommend, as like many, I completely underestimated the impact that a poor diet could have on my horse. Whilst my horse has access to amazing grazing, it appears the nutrition of this was not quite hitting the mark.

    Great product. I feed the winter balancer all year round as my pony is permanently on soaked hay and this just helps make sure she’s getting everything she needs. As a 3yr old she has grown steadily and always looked strong and healthy and I put this down to her having the exact diet she needs to facilitate her in her early years
