Dette tilskuddet, som er lav på jern, er basert på hundrevis av foranalyser for å gi hesten din et best mulig tilskudd ved siden av grovfôret. Den inneholder bare de vanligvis mangelfulle mineralene som er nødvendig for å balansere grovfôret. Alle Forageplus Balancers kommer i pulverform, inneholder lite sukker og stivelse, inneholder ikke unødvendig fyllstoff og bare mineraler og vitaminer med høyeste renhet. Tilskuddet blandes enkelt i feks betfiber, mash, Lucerne eller hva du måtte ønske eller bruker til din hest. Dette tilskuddet passer for hester som står på gress minst 6 timer i døgnet på gress. Om hesten har redusert tilgang til gress eller får grovfor gjennom sommeren bør du gi Forageplus Winter Equine Balancer med E-vitamin.
Dette produktet er spesielt nyttig for de som ikke kan ta fôrprøver for analyse eller de som ønsker å tilsette ytterligere produkter fra en base som ikke inneholder jern eller mangan, men gode nivåer av kobber, sink og magnesium. Mineralene som brukes er av høy kvalitet for å unngå forurensning av tungmetaller samt at de har godt opptak.

Every 100 grams contains:
29.89 grams of micronised linseed
10 grams lysine
5 grams phosphorous (low iron mono-sodium phosphate)
12 grams magnesium (low iron magnesium oxide)
400 mg copper (bioplex)
1200mg zinc (bioplex)
2mg iodine (calcium iodate)
1 mg selenium (yeast)
5 grams salt
Be aware that the above analysis for 100 grams is equivalent to elemental values fed.
The volume feed rate (100 grams) is not the same as the elemental feed rate values (above). Therefore the above figures will not equal 100 grams.
Dosering:
200 – 400 kg horse 75 grams per day.
400 – 600 kg horse 100 grams per day.
600 – 700 kg horse 125 grams per day.
700 – 800 kg horse 150 grams per day.
A 50ml scoop contains approximately 45 grams.
Feeding a 400 -600kg horse this product should last you 50 days.

My two Arabs do well on this product. They are both barefoot and seem much sounder and stronger when fed this supplement.

We have a seven year old Cob, he didn’t seem to have any health of hoof issues when we got him. We have just finished our second bag of Summer balancer. His feet are rock hard according to the farrier and have grown with a lovely smooth surface. He’s barefoot but has a little pedicure every 8-9 weeks. People often comment on his shiny coat and the length of his mane and tail even when he hasn’t been groomed. His temperament has improved and he’s a lot less jumpy. It’s very easy to mix up with Fast Fibre and chaff and he doesn’t mind eating it.

I use the Forage plus summer balancer for my 3 horses. The first is 24yr old semi retired pony who had his shoes taken off last year and now has the most wonderful rock crunching feet. I don’t feed him another supplements other than MSM for old age and people cannot believe that he is 24 as he looks shiny and full of beans. He also suffers from mild seasonal itching and since being on FP this has improved too with his mane and tail much less scurfy. My second horse is a 15.1hh 16yr old dressage mare who is a very good doer, and it’s nice to know that she is getting all the vits and mins she needs on her restricted grazing. My third horse is a 14yr old pony club pony who works quite hard and who recently had her shoes off. We are confident that she is getting the right balancer to help her hooves transition. Excellent service always from Forageplus who make products that are actually tailored for the equine and help us humans understand what they really need. Thanks guys!

I ordered the Summer Equine Balancer from you for my Quarterhorse gelding who, in 2011 had Laminitis and, last year had been pulling off his shoe and ending up with bruised and major hoof issues! The Balancer supported him nutritionally through his recovery. This year, and I can’t quite believe this myself, but he is barefoot and sound!!!!

This is the first time I actually believe I’m feeding a supplement that is of benefit to my horse where thought has gone into supplementing what is necessary to balance typical British pasture. Both of my horses look super healthy and I think they really enjoy the addition of the micronised linseed for palatability. The service I’ve received from Forage Plus has been second to none and I thoroughly recommend this product.

I started feeding the summer balancer to support hoof quality of my 4 yo Irish Draught as I wanted to continue barefoot. It not only supported her hooves but within 10 days there was a noticeable difference in her coat. Previously I thought she may start to suffer from seasonal itching as I had to rug her to stop her scratching. However her coat is now soft, shiny and the flies don’t seem to bother her. Wonderful stuff, will be a regular user as it’s not often you find a product that works to such a noticeable degree. Well done Forageplus for bringing this to the market. There’s going to be a lot of shiny horses out there.

I give all four of my barefoot horses Forageplus Summer balancer. The quality of their hooves has been supported so much that none of them have had to wear hoof boots this summer. The addition of linseed to the mix I think has made it more palatable too which is a plus, even though they have it in a very small feed, all buckets are licked clean!

I started my seven year old black gypsy cob on this two months ago. Within two weeks his coat was softer and shinier, then he started to go a lovely dark dappled chocolate colour. His mane is softer and so is the new growth on his brillo pad tail. He looks fab.
